spring 2003
there isn't much work to discuss, because
this semester i left art school to pursue a
different major; i ended up going back to
art school
most of the work was done for larry's color
theory class
the interior of a church, for an assignment
focusing on saturated colors. i chose to
alter the actual colors to a
red-orange/blue-green pair to push the
saturation further.

my sad first little attempt at pointillism  of
my back yard.
this piece is about 18x24" acrylic on canvas.
and will most likely go unfinished forever, as
i longer live in this house.

my favorite part is the spoon
the large water glass needs work and even
maybe the whole painting should be
cropped taking off two-thirds of the glass
any thoughts?
an unfinished oil on canvas of the road leading
to my old house using complementary color
pairs and warm-cool contrasts to define
space.
the technique used involves laying small
areas of color, that from a distance blend
together to create an illusionary depth.
