two examples of work from relief printmaking. the left, 32.5x27", is of a print froma carved board of luan, with a print of a metal sculpture on top. this was a fun process, but sad since my sculpture was crushed. the right, 9x12", is a monotype.

this semester i was finished with foundations, and was able to choose my classes. i learned how to weld, among countless other skills. i decided to leave montserrat at the end of this semester, to pursue other interests.
the assignment was something about childhood images portrayed through a cartoon iconic style. the image on the right shows my final piece. we were required to weld steel for this project. for most of the class it was their first welding experience. the top left image is the result of my practice spot welding, i decided afterwards that it was interesting enough to save. below right: detail of practice piece i was apprehensive to learn how to weld, now it is one of my favorite techniques.
